So Harrison's new tooth has added a whole new dimension to our lives, believe it or not. He was using it today to scrape on a baby carrot which was a lot of fun for him. He isn't allowed to chew on our fingers anymore. I forgot once and let him stick my thinger in his mouth and it really hurt! I think we are starting to learn that it can hurt him, too. I am not sure how it happened, but I noticed mid-morning today that he had a cut on his lip. I am not sure how he managed, but it is right in front of where his tooth is. My best guess is that he curled his lip under and bit down. He hasn't seemed to notice it, but it looks sore. If you look closely in the picture below you can see his battle wound as well as his tooth right above it. Poor guy. I also thought I would post a picture of something that NEVER happens... Harrison fell asleep while playing on the floor. He is a pretty finnicky sleeper and will only usually sleep in his crib, his car seat or his swing. This happened Sunday afternoon - maybe he is starting to learn the trend around our house??
It's hard to see, but it is just right of the center of his bottom lip.

Memories...
Hey guys. I found this on a friend's blog and thought it would be fun to do.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Weekend with the Prinz's
This weekend we had a fun time hanging out around Provo with our friends Gary, Heather and Trevor Prinz. We went bowling Friday night and had so much fun! It was the Robinsons vs. the Prinzs and we totally got killed. Heather had an amazing game and even beat Gary, which meant she got to sleep in all weekend while Gary got up with Trevor. Way to represent, girlfriend! On Saturday we drove past a piano store that is gong out of business, so we walked in to see if they had any great deals. Maybe we'll eventually get a piano. Sigh. Then we went to the driving range with the Prinz's. Zac has been golfing a lot more than usual this Summer, and so we thought it would be fun to go hit a few. Gary is an awsome golfer, as is Heather. Zac is also really good, and a lot better than he says he is. It was my first real experience with golfing and it was much more fun than I thought it would be. After golf we made yummy french bread pizza and had some good chats. It was a really fun weekend spent with some really great friends.

Family for the Fourth
We spent the Fourth of July with family and had a big weekend! We went to the park to watch fireworks with the Elders, and we brought along our friends the Prinz's. We ate sandwiches, played in the park, ate lots of candy and saw a great firework show. The next day we went to the zoo. We watched the bird show, had icees, and got to see the new baby giraffe. Then on Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's for dinner. Maisey got to go and had a fun time playing in their yard... it is much bigger than ours! Harrison had fun spending time with his grandma and grandpa. here is a slideshow of our weekend.

First Tooth
So it happened... Harrison's first tooth popped through today! He is being such a trooper about it. We have a baby toothbrush for him, and he has been chewing on that thing all day. We decided that it was a cause to celebrate, so we went to play in the Gateway fountain and eat some ice cream. It was a fabulous way to celebrate a first tooth. Good boy, Harrison!

Thanksgiving Point
So a few weeks ago Zac's work threw a Summer party at Thanksgiving Point. We were given passes to visit the Gardens, the Dinosaur Museum, the Children's Garden and the Farm. We spent the whole day there and had such a great time. Harrison loves being outside. At the farm they have this animal called a turken which is a chicken with a bare neck like a turkey... It was as strange as it sounds. Harrison was right down by the turken when he started to crow like a rooster, and it totally freaked him out. Those things are pretty loud! Maybe we will try our luck with loud farm animals when he's a little older. We also got to see baby goats that had been born probably an hour or so earlier. It was so neat! We got to hang out at the Waterfall Ampatheater for awhile. It is so peaceful there. We probably sat on the hill looking at the waterfall for an hour. I can't believe that we have never been to visit there. I definitely recommend it for a day when you have a few hours to walk around and chill out. Here are a few pictures...
The Waterfall Ampatheater. The picture doesn't do it justice... it was so huge!
Harrison and me sitting in the shade at the waterfall.
Cooling off in the pond at the Secret Garden.
Harrison's face pretty much describes his mood after getting hollered at by the turken.
Harrison loves playing with his dad... They had a pretty good time.
After spending all day outside, there was a dinner in a room overlooking the gardens. President Monson was there for the dinner which was really neat. During the blessing on the food, Harrison started yelling. Not crying, just yelling to be heard. Of all the times to yell during the prayer, I don't think that was the best. That boy always finds some way to leave his mark...
